We visited Somerset, England, for some family history where we stopped in Sampford Brett, the home town of Mark’s late grandparents, and explored the quaint coastal towns of Minehead and Watchet with a ride on the West Somerset Railway. Thanks to our wonderful hosts–Mark’s first cousin once removed Pauline and her husband Gary–we also enjoyed trips to historic Selworthy, Dunster and beautiful Exmoor as well as plenty of good English food.
