It took three flights and then a three hour ferry ride from Bodø to Moskenes, but it was well worth the trip to visit Lofoten in northern Norway. Despite some wet and cloudy weather, we enjoyed our days outside biking and hiking, exploring tiny fishing communities, eating fish soup and fish burgers and finally, on our last day, scrambling up Mount Reinebringen. By far one of our favorite stops on this journey and we are both looking forward to returning to Norway one day, hopefully with an RV to explore further. Photos taken with a Canon 5D Mark III. If you want to blur the background of your photos (and also want an affordable lens) try experimenting with a Canon 50mm f/1.4 and you’ll get beautiful bokeh. Sam March 1 Great photos Mark. All those greeneries, make me want to revisit this place again. I didn’t get to do the hiking because it was winter. The view is very different, not as green but still spectacular, esp. seeing the turquoise water contrast against white wintery coast.
