During our trip to Cancun in January 2022, we planned to make a quick stop in Tulum to visit the ruins before we headed on to Akumal Bay. Since we were driving into Tulum from Coba, we looked for a hotel with convenient parking that was safe and close to both the downtown area and the ruins. We found Naay Tulum Curamoria fit the bill for location and comfort for our one-night stay.

Private Room:

We booked a king-size bedroom that was very comfortable for our one night. The hotel in general was very modern with the room itself following the same modern style. Only small downsides was that the hallway was noisy at times with guests coming and going and our room window had a view of a wall. But other than that, the hotel was great for what we needed for one night.

Amenities:

Naay Tulum had convenient free parking out front of their building. The hotel also provided rentals like bicycles that we didn’t take advantage of since it rained the day we arrived, but thought it was nice they had that to offer. Since we arrived too early to check in, the front desk concierge was nice enough to hold on to our luggage. While waiting, we headed up to the rooftop where there was a luxurious pool and dining area. We ate a delicious breakfast in the dining area before we were ready to check-in to our room.

Location:

Naay Tulum was in a very nice and convenient location. It felt like a safe area and we were able to walk into the downtown main strip from the hotel. It was very easy to drive to and from the hotel to visit the Tulum Ruins.
