Our stops in Australia and New Zealand were no more than glorified layovers with just three days in Sydney and six in Queenstown. But we still managed to thoroughly enjoy ourselves and are already dreaming of a much longer return visit to each. In Australia, we soaked in the splendor of Sydney — a city both of us would love to live in someday (or in another life) — and took a short trip to visit the beautiful koalas and other animals at the Featherdale Wildlife Park. In New Zealand, we finally got to visit Milford Sound — a destination that had been on both our lists for a long time. We also enjoyed the wonderful atmosphere of Queenstown and explored some of the beautiful, rugged landscape of the South Island. Photos taken with a Canon 5D Mark III.
