KATERINA AND JOHN HOTEL IN SANTORINI

We had a lovely stay at Katerina and John Hotel in Perissa, which is on the Greek Island of Santorini. Katerina and John are the friendly owners who picked us up from the ferry terminal and their family helped us with the ATV rental. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and to Ancient Thera from the hotel.

Private Room:

The exterior of the hotel is in the traditional Greek colors of blue and white, while the interior is a bit outdated in terms of style. With our private room was spacious and came with a private bathroom, kitchenette, security safe in the closet, desk area, and table with chairs. In the day it tended to be noisy in our room since it bordered the road, and we could hear ATVs going up and down it.

Amenities:

There is wifi at Katerina and John Hotel in the main courtyard. Sometimes if we stood next to our door we could get wifi in our room. There is a beautiful pool in the courtyard as well. John offered free pick-up and drop-off to the ferry terminal, which was super helpful. There is also an ATM just right outside the hotel.

Pricing:

We paid €16.70/night for private room, which was a great price for Santorini. We came near the end of the high season so it seemed like prices were lower than usual.

Location:

This is a great location for those who want to be near a beach. We walked five minutes to get to Perissa Beach. The hotel is also right next to the local bus stop, grocery store, 24-hour bakery, and ATV/scooter rental shop. We rented the ATV for a day to get to the other highlights on the island such as Red Beach, Fira and Oia.
