After a few days exploring Athens we took caught a nine-hour ferry ride to the island of Santorini where we finally found the rest and relaxation we were in great need of. Four months into this trip we happily laid on the beach and soaked in the Mediterranean sun, taking the occasional dip in the Aegean Sea… in October! We were just three minutes from the beach in the little town of Perissa and also explored Red Beach, Fira, Ancient Thera and enjoyed sunset at Oia. Heavenly. Photos taken with a Canon 5D Mark III.
