A somewhat unplanned visit to Barcelona, thanks to a £1 Megabus ticket, left us madly in love with the Spanish city. During our stay—made possible by our friend Vita who put us up in her apartment—we explored the crowded La Rambla, took in a lively Castellers festival, ate lunch at La Boqueria Market, visited various Antoni Gaudi buildings, relaxed on the beautiful beach and happened across a wine and cheese festival—mmmmm, tasty. During all that time we didn’t come across a single siesta! Photos taken with a Canon 5D Mark III.
