For our stay in Bangkok, Thailand, we wanted to stay near Khao San Road, so we found Four Sons Inn that was just a street over from the infamous road. It was perfect for our short stay.

Private Room:

Our private room was small with a small bed that strangely felt like a water bed when we laid on it. Our window faced the busy loud street, but we were on the fourth floor so the noise wasn’t as bad as it could’ve been if we were on a lower level. The street noise usually stopped around 1 am so we didn’t have a problem with it. The mornings were always quiet.

Amenities:

WiFi worked very well in the bedroom the whole time we were there. Our private bathroom was very smelly. We also saw a cockroach scurrying around and then disappear in the bathroom. There was a TV in our room, but we never bothered to turn it on to see if it worked. The air conditioning worked well and a bottle of free drinking water was provided.

Pricing:

We paid $18/night, which was reasonable for being close to Khao San Road.

Location:

Besides the noise at night, Four Sons Inn was the perfect location for us. The road we were on was lively and full of restaurants and massages. And just a short walk away was Khao San Road. A tuk tuk ride from our hotel to the Grand Palace was only $3 for one way.
