When we returned to Patong Beach, Thailand, we found At Home Boutique Hotel, a relatively cheap hotel closer to the beach and mall than our last place. It was just what we needed after staying on Phi Phi Island where our guesthouse was right next to a club and pretty loud each night. At Home Boutique provided a quiet and spacious room during our stay.

Private Room:

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large padded sitting area next to the window. The patio faced another building, but we didn’t mind since this meant it blocked out all the street noise. The room came with a security safe box, TV, DVD player, complimentary water bottles, and a clean bathroom. The only odd thing about the room was the large tinted window that separated the bathroom and bedroom. Even though it was tinted, we could still see the other person through it, and the bathroom door was super thin. It was okay though, we’re used to not having much privacy from each other.

Amenities:

The room reservation came with free breakfast in the morning, which included toast, juice, cereal, eggs, and bacon. The restaurant in the lounge also provides room service that we did one night and ordered the Chicken Pad Thai that was delicious. The free wi-fi in our room was also the best we’ve had in Thailand so far.

Pricing:

For $26/night it was a reasonable price for the area we were staying in Patong Beach. It was cheaper than our last hotel we stayed at in town, so we felt like we were getting a good deal.

Location:

Although it is off one of the busiest streets in Patong Beach, we didn’t hear any of the traffic from our room. This made our stay quiet and peaceful, but it was also nice to be able to go outside and already be in the heart of the town. It was just a five minute walk to Jungcelyon Mall and Big C Supermarket and a 10 minute walk to the beach. We really loved our stay at At Home Boutique Hotel and it was hard to say goodbye when we left.
